The C.W.  Mount Community Center is a city-owned, but not tax supported, 45,000 square foot facility located just west of downtown Tipton at 341 W. Jefferson St. (SR 28).

An elevated walking track in the gymnasium is provided for use by the community at no charge.  Walking track hours are 5AM-8PM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8AM-8PM Tuesday and Thursday, and 7AM-noon on Saturday.  15 laps around the track are equal to one mile. NO equipment(strollers, wagons, etc.) or running/jogging permitted for the safety of all participants. The use of the walking track may be restricted at times due to rental schedules of the gymnasium.

Open gyms for basketball and volleyball are held for the community at various times through the year.
